The 5 Best Shows of February, Hands-Down

The Today show shared BTS footage of the pair meeting in one of the studio's greenrooms. On first sight, Liu squealed and they embraced enthusiastically. Radcliffe gave Alysa a massive high-five while doing a victory dance to celebrate her two Olympic golds. She then proceeded to hand him one of her medals and asked, "Do you want to wear it?"

Radcliffe's face instantly lit up. "Obviously I wasn't going to ask, but yeah!" he replied. Then he paused. "I'll hold it. Wearing it feels like stolen valor."

Liu has been doing a victory lap in the press since bringing home her hardware from Milan. She also made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where the figure skater crowned the comedian not with a medal, but with his very own wig inspired by her iconic halo hairstyle.

The athlete also dropped by The American Theatre to visit the OH, MARY! cast, including Simu Liu, who plays Mary's tutor and celebrated the release of her Teen Vogue cover shoot.

I Won’t Miss the Olympic Competition—I’ll Miss the Olympic-Size Tears

As the song from a popular Broadway musical goes, "No one mourns the wicked." But the latest Reese's Book Club pick promises to turn that trope on its head. The Book-Lover-in-Chief has announced her March 2026 pick, and it's a retelling of Cinderella like you've never considered. Meet Lady Tremaine by debut author Rachel Hochhauser.

"I loved the idea that it's a retelling of the Cinderella story," Witherspoon said in her announcement. "What we thought we knew, we don't know at all. Cinderella is not the hero."

Watching the reel further reveals some shocking takes on Cinderella's character, and paints Lady Tremaine in a whole new light.

In Hochhauser's retelling, the woman every little girl is taught to villainize becomes stunningly human. She's a widow with three daughters, facing imminent poverty and only her late husband's title as a possible saving grace. There's a stepdaughter who has always rebuffed her, a royal engagement, sordid family secrets and, at the end of the day, a mother's love.

Writing on Reese's Book Club's blog, Hochhauser shared that the idea came during a difficult time in her family's life. Her husband was hospitalized and suddenly, the author was juggling innumerable doctors' appointments, parenting a toddler and working full time.

"Like many women my age, I grew up loving Cinderella—aching for my own happily ever after and identifying with the story’s namesake," she writes. "But this time, looking at the stepmother, I didn’t see a villain motivated by harm. I saw myself: a woman motivated by care, doing whatever she could to survive. A mother. I could not stop thinking about the many ways women fight to protect those they love, and how this intersects with—or more often fails to intersect with—the stories we pass down, especially to girls."

Hochhauser was captivated by how easily she'd ingested the fairytale message that being nice and beautiful might save you. The resulting book, she writes, has the familiar hallmarks of this classic story, before it defies expectations.

"It’s a love story—but not the kind you expect—and an attempt to imagine a different version of happily ever after."

Steve Carell plays an author who has a "complicated" relationship with his daughter. And the comedy is clearly a star-studded event with famous faces such as Connie Britton and Ted Lasso star Phil Dunster appearing.

Who doesn't love a show about a foul-mouthed bear and his human best friend, set in the '90s?! The hit comedy Ted is back for season two, and serves as a prequel to the equally successful Ted movies starring Mark Wahlberg.

Jason Bateman, David Harbour and Linda Cardellini star in this twist-filled new series about a love triangle and, ya know, a dead body. The trouble starts when Bateman's character introduces his friend and coworker to a spicy new app called DTF St. Louis. Murder and drama ensue.

5. Young Sherlock

• Number of seasons: 1

How did Sherlock Holmes get his start? Guy Ritchie (who last wowed me with his hit show The Gentlemen) answers the question in this new origin series about the now-world famous detective. The trailer alone delivers plenty of action and, of course, a crime scene.

6. R.J. Decker

• Number of seasons: 1

An ex-con who looks strangely familiar (am I the only Felicity fan here?) gets a fresh start as a private detective. The show is based on the Carl Hiaasen novel Double Whammy, and follows the former troublemaker as he tackles and solves cases.

7. Outlander

• Rating: TV-MA
• Number of seasons: 8

It's the eighth and final season of the time-travel romance series, Outlander, and the show is promising "edge-of-your-seat drama" for the last installment. The hit series is a mix of sci-fi, romance and history (with quite a bit of action thrown in). If you haven't watched yet, now's the perfect time to start binging.

8. Bachelor Mansion Takeover

• Number of seasons: 1

As HGTV puts it, "Once they sought roses. Now, they seek...cohesive design elements?" Former Bachelor Nation contestants return in a competition to renovate the iconic Bachelor Mansion. Only one winner can emerge, only this time with cash instead of an engagement.

9. A Friend, A Murderer

I love a limited series (low commitment), I love true crime (the suspense of it all!) and I love a docuseries (it's real?! Even better!). So, this new Netflix show hits all the streaming sweet spots. Three friends revisit a series of crimes that have since haunted a small town in Denmark.

10. The Hunt

Leave it to Apple TV to explain why I'll be binge-watching this so hard: "When friends on a hunting trip get into a deadly clash with other hunters, they vow to keep it a secret." What ensues? "Paranoia," "revenge" and "savage instincts." Sign. Me. Up.

11. A Plan to Kill

Oxygen True Crime returns with a whole new season about real-life killers who go above and beyond to try to get away with their crimes. The riveting series offers everything from staged crime scenes to terrifying scavenger hunts. I'd advise watching with the lights on.

Umm, how did this star-studded comedy manage to slip so far under my radar? American Classic, starring Laura Linney and Kevin Kline, follows a Broadway star who returns to his small town to help rescue his family's dinner theater. As a theater nerd and lover of all things Laura Linney, I'll be binging this one.

13. The Bluff

• Rating: R
• Runtime: 103 minutes

Is it warm in here or is that just Priyanka Chopra-Jonas playing a badass ex-pirate in this dark and intense new Prime Video drama? Maybe both; I haven't quite figured out the heater in my apartment. Either way, I'll be watching (and hoping for a Jo-Bros appearance).

14. Monarch: Legacy of Monsters

This big-budget monster show (think the Godzilla and King Kong universe) was a huge favorite of mine when season one first debuted in 2023. Now, the epic sci-fi/action/thriller series has returned, along with its stars: Kurt Russell and real-life son Wyatt Russell. (Can we get a Goldie cameo please?!)

15. Paradise

Has anyone else been waiting patiently impatiently for the follow-up season to one of 2025's best shows? Sterling K. Sometimes I wish I could decamp to a charming small town and start a new life à la Netflix’s drama Virgin River. While the California town in the series is fictional, it's not totally made up. The Virgin River is a tributary of the Colorado River and runs through Utah, Nevada and Arizona, including right up along the famous Zion National Park.

I’m not a country girl (I live in New York, after all), but a cottage this cute does have me rethinking my life choices. The historic home has been charmingly remodeled and is within a half hour’s drive of Zion, surrounded by the mountains. It’s also an easy drive to the Zion Canyon Hot Springs, where you’ll find more than 50 bodies of water, from cold plunges to natural mineral pools.

3. Pioneer Cottage (Toquerville, UT)

One look at Pioneer Cottage and I got a flashback to McCrea Lodge—but maybe it’s just the ranch-style layout talking. This pioneer home, originally constructed in 1858, is completely modernized while retaining its rustic heritage. History buffs will appreciate this as the John Steele home—the man was one of Utah’s first settlers. Toquerville has a dark sky ordinance, meaning it’s a prime location for stargazing, and the property is also conveniently close to Zion National Park, St. George and Cedar City.

4. Dragonfly Ranch: The White Cottage (Glendale, UT)

While not situated right on the river, The White Cottage does sit next to a gurgling stream. That’s all the convincing I need to spend the entire day on the front porch, in the swing with a book. Here the birds chirp and the horses graze; evenings are capped with walks down the sandy riverbank. Naturally, you’re in a terrific spot for stargazing, while also being within an hour’s drive of Zion. Oh, and did I mention the farm eggs they supply for breakfast?

If you’re a glamper, the Zion Twin Tent experience will be a winner. Even I, firmly on team bed-and-breakfast, would consider booking this. Why? Well, the tent includes real beds, for starters. And topping those beds are luxury, high-thread-count sheets, plush comforters and plenty of blankets and pillows. A far cry from the slumped air mattresses my family hauled along on our annual camping trips. A rug, bedside tables and leather wingback chairs complete the setup. This is an off-the-grid experience, meaning electricity is limited (though the campsite does provide solar-powered lamps). Take this as a true opportunity to unplug, look at the sky and leave the chaos of life behind.

Here, you’re within half an hour of Zion, with plenty of local attractions at the foot of Gooseberry Mesa. Go mountain biking on any of the numerous trails, zip up to the Kolob Reservoir or hike the “Subway” trail.

Perhaps the best feature of this town, stargazing aside, is the fact that you can access Zion National Park…on foot.

This duplex tiny home marries modern luxury with the great outdoors. The best place to see the sunset (or look at the stars) is by far the park, which is just under two miles away; shuttle access is two minutes by foot. But if you’re ending the day at home, the best views are found on the balcony.

This year, even more so, as the word on everyone’s lips is “whimsy,” with Google searches for the word at an all-time high, and people’s TikTok and Instagram feeds are fueled with attempts to romanticize everyday life. The lifestyle brand has been the blueprint for adding a dash of romance and whimsy to your wardrobe, coffee table and bookshelves—without skewing kitschy or kiddie.

With that in mind, I spoke to the masterminds behind the brand, and combed through its newest bestsellers, to uncover the hottest spring finds at Anthropologie. (Spoiler: Their denim is having a major moment.) From barware to barrel jeans, here’s what’s worth a closer look as you add a little whimsy to your days.

1. Maeve Faux Suede Cropped Jacket

Shrunken and cropped jackets make for a fun transitional piece as the temperatures ever-so-slowly start to climb. This cut is a little boxy, but still fitted, landing right at the hip and offering a nice balance to wide- and barrel-leg jeans (more on that in a sec). Plus, this lighter riff on the suede trend helps brighten your wardrobe without going full-on florals for spring.

2. The Kayden Barrel Carpenter Jeans by Pilcro

Anthropologie’s Kayden jeans have been taking off this season, specifically its barrel leg styles. The spotted and cuffed styles are exceptionally popular right now, the brand tells me, but nothing beats the versatility and day-to-day wearability of the classic carpenter style. The blue sands wash has just enough of a weathered look to give the jeans character, and they’re available in a wide range of fits (standard, tall, petite and plus).

3. Maeve Pointed-Toe Slip-On Jelly Sandals

Leave it to Anthro to offer an elevated take on jelly sandals. Available in pink, brown, nude or this playful Cheetah print, these pointed-toe slides add a cool-casual vibe to any outfit. And they’ll take up hardly any space in your carry-on.

4. The Peregrine Square-Neck Midi Dress

Last year brought us the Tobie and Somerset dresses. My pick for 2026? The Peregrine. The square neck is great for showing off your favorite necklace (or layering on a few), and the ruched bodice offers support and a streamlined silhouette without going full corset. Add flutter sleeves and a midi skirt, and it’s the perfect outfit for Mother’s Day brunch or an alfresco lunch date.

5. The Goldie Cotton Crewneck Sweater

Butter yellow is back this spring, and if you’re on the fence about it, this slouchy cropped sweater will change your mind. (And if it absolutely doesn’t, it’s available in eight other colors, from olive green to a light blue with bold red stitching on the sleeves.)

One of the easiest ways to spruce up your outfit and wear animal print is through accessories like this Anthropologie oval buckle belt. I especially love that it comes in multiple sizes (plus options, too), so you can snag one according to how you like to wear it, whether that’s low on the hips, at your true waist or somewhere in-between.

10. Daily Practice Funnel Neck Jacket

Another transitional topper that’s been flying off the racks at Anthro? This funnel neck jacket, which features a drawstring waist, so you can switch up your look—and, functionally speaking, keep gusts of wind from searing through you on your morning 6-6-6 Method walks. Oh, and it’s machine washable.

11. Maeve Ruffled Stripe Tufted Bath Mat

Cabana stripes and a ruffled edge? This tufted bath mat is cushy underfoot and stylish to boot. It’s just the upgrade your bathroom has been missing to bring you out of the doldrums of winter. Trust.

12. Ban.do Fruit Mancala

Can you even? Let me answer that for you: No, you cannot. Yes, I’m reverting to 2016 internet speak, but this twee take on the classic “count and capture” board game warrants it. Instead of marbles or stones, it features tiny cherries, pineapples, strawberries and other fruit-shaped resin pieces. And the board! Why, it’s picnic-core to the core and is basically begging to be toted to your first picnic of spring.

13. The LyreBird ModaLuxe Short Sleeve Pajamas

An oversized tee gets the job done, but there’s something so charming about starting the day in a matching pajama set. Especially when it features a fun pattern (I’m partial to the tiger style) and is made of wrinkle-resistant, stretchy and breathable ModaLuxe fabric.

Following some initial backlash, FX's Love Story—the dramatized series about John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette—ultimately nailed it on the wardrobe front. Sarah Pidgeon, who stars as Bessette, cycles through an array of chic, minimalist looks that truly capture Bessette's iconic '90s style. But it was no plain black turtleneck or slip dress that caught my eye in episode five. Rather, it was a textured sweater that looked equal parts cozy and coastal cool.

Despite showing up in a rather tense scene of the couple talking about their future together, this oversized knit was the epitome of relaxed. So I was hardly surprised when I learned that the sweater in question was none other than J.Crew's classic Rollneck ($98), a 1988 design that has remained one of the brand's staple styles.

Crafted from 100 percent thick cotton, the preppy knit is certainly weighty enough to keep you warm in chilly temps. But it's also breathable enough for the hotter seasons (whether or not that includes a day of sailing off the coast of Hyannis Port).

J.Crew

While the silhouette is available in women-specific sizing, J.Crew creative director Olympia Gayot confirmed on Instagram that Pidgeon actually wore the men's version in the show, which explains the perfectly oversized fit—as if she had just plucked it from Kennedy's closet to curl up in.

For ladies hoping to channel the look, the brand suggests sizing down for a fit that's stylishly relaxed, but not so big you're swimming in it. But you'd better hurry—I could see the exact Mountain White colorway selling out fast as we approach spring, especially now that it's gotten a stamp of approval from (the fictional) Bessette.

That's not all the brand is rolling out this spring. On April 7, the Iced Mango Cream Matcha and Iced Mango Cream Chai will be available year-round, and the brand will launch a new Iced Ube Coconut Cream Shaken Espresso, which will only be available for a limited time.

After sampling several drinks in advance (perk of being a food editor), I have to admit: There’s one drink I can’t wait to order again, a few I plan on adding to my regular “lil’ treat” rotation—and one that’s just, honestly, not for me. (But maybe it’s for you!)

My Favorite Starbucks Spring Menu Drink

Iced Ube Coconut Macchiato

I thought I loved the Toasted Coconut Cream Cold Brew (more on that in a second), and then this drink stole the show. Beyond its showstopping purple topper is serious flavor: There’s the milk, espresso and toasted coconut base, with a cold foam that’s a little sweet, a little nutty and almost oatmeal cookie-like. And while taro and ube are two different tubers, the mix of ube and coconut reminded me of taro-based desserts I’d had in Hawaii years ago. Snow was all around me, yet I felt transported to a beach—if only mentally, for a moment. It’s tropical without smacking you in the face, like a piña colada might, and not nearly as sweet (or fruity). It’s refreshing yet cozy; a glimpse of warmer days ahead.

The Runners Up

Toasted Coconut Cream Cold Brew

Coconut has been popping up on café menus across the country, so it’s only fitting that it’s the star of Starbucks’s seasonal launch (well, that and lavender). The brand doesn’t just see this as a flash-in-the-mug trend though—it also announced that its toasted coconut syrup and cold foam will now be available year-round. I’m grateful for that news: The syrup lends a subtle coconut flavor that livens up cold brew and lattes without overpowering it. Some rival blends can be so strong that they’re almost sunscreen-ish; this is more of a kiss of coconut. It’s especially delightful as cold foam, gradually blending into black cold brew, deepening its flavor without turning things super sweet.

As a black cold brew drinker, this is my ideal cold foam topper. If you prefer Frappuccinos and sweeter drinks, you may prefer the iced Toasted Coconut Latte.

The Cannon Ball Drink

On the heels of launching the Cannon Ball Drink in partnership with Beast Games, Starbucks is rolling out a fresh take on it: the Pink Cannon Ball Drink. I’m partial to the sweet-tart flavor of the original, which combines lemonade, Mango Dragonfruit and Strawberry Açaí Refreshers and is topped with strawberry and dragonfruit bits. It’s like a grown-up fruit punch, though if you crave something a bit less intense, the new Pink Drink version is worth a shot. It adds coconut milk to the mix, making it a bit smoother and creamier.

The One That Wasn't for Me

Iced Lavender Cream Matcha

The lavender is a bit floral and marshmallow-y, and in a latte, I don’t mind it. But when paired with matcha’s grassy flavor, the drink skews a bit too liquid potpourri for my tastes. (I’m more of a fan of Starbucks’s other lavender iterations, as a latte or Crème Frappuccino, or as a sweet contrast to the warming spices in the new Iced Lavender Cream Chai.)

However, if you love herbaceous notes and earthy flavors, the matcha variety might be more your style. To each her own.

The 27 Best Starbucks Secret Menu Drinks, Chosen by a Former Starbucks Barista

Recently, Gomez appeared on the Friends Keep Secrets podcast hosted by Blanco, Lil Dicky (Dave Burd) and Kristin Batalucco. The four covered everything from Gomez's Instagram DMs to her and Blanco's wedding—but it was the anecdote about Swift that got me.

Towards the end of the interview, Gomez talks about her friendship with Swift, including a meticulously hand-made gift the singer gave the Only Murders in the Building actress to mark her 30th birthday. The conversation then dove into music, and Gomez revealed that "Dorothea," from Swift's ninth album, Evermore, was written about her.

The Everett linen dress feels just as good as it looks—which is great because who really has time for dresses that require you to sit up straight and behave? It’s made from lightweight linen with a fitted bodice and relaxed A-line skirt, making it ideal for a leisurely spring brunch that somehow turns into an all-day affair. What I love most is how comfortable it is. The easy silhouette let me move freely without ever feeling restricted. I tried this look on almost as an afterthought. I had the silk skirt in one hand and the cashmere boyfriend sweater draped over my arm, not entirely sure if I would pair them, but curious. The moment I stepped out of the dressing room, the salesman looked up, paused and said, “Ohhh now this is a forever look.” And honestly, I had to agree.

Leather shoes are hit or miss. Some are immediately comfortable; others you have to break in a bit. But these are incredibly comfortable right out of the box, thanks to the soft, supple leather that molds to your feet and gives them that broken-in feel almost immediately. The classic ballet silhouette and round toe make them easy to wear, and the leather construction is designed to be flexible and durable over time. What I especially love are the colorways—they truly go with everything. My only caveat is that I’m not entirely sure how the arches hold up after many hours on your feet. Like most ballet flats, they’re fairly minimal in structure, and similar styles often don’t offer significant arch support. That said, for casual wear, shorter outings, or days when comfort and style need to coexist, they’re an easy, reliable choice.

The salesman warned me before I even stepped into the dressing room that the Cary Low Rise Wide Leg Jeans were the brand’s best seller. “All I’m saying is,” he began, very seriously, “they better bury me in these, ok!” I laughed, but in my head I thought, we’ll see. I’ve heard bold claims before. But the moment I pulled them on, it clicked. The oversized shirt was the first top that grabbed my eye when I walked into Reformation. You know that moment when you’re pretending to browse casually, but internally you’ve already decided, Oh, I’m leaving with you. That was me and the oversized shirt. I paired it with the cashmere sweater and added the Cary jeans, and I felt like I was ready for anything. One honest note: if you sweat a lot (like me!), consider getting the shirt in a darker color so perspiration isn’t as obvious. The 2026 Style Report

After all, it’s not just me who’s feeling the crunch. Indeed, wages are barely keeping pace with inflation and Credit Karma reports that almost half of Americans saw their financial circumstances worsen in the last year, with over 50 percent of people making it a goal to stick to a budget in 2026. And how is this affecting our relationships? The personal finance platform notes that 47 percent of Gen Z and 36 percent of Millennials have considered ending friendships because of spending discrepancies. Over a third have specifically reported that they have a friend who drives them to overspend and perpetuate a cycle of debt.

Personally, I don’t want to break up with any friends, but I also don’t need an activity to enjoy someone’s company. I even like doing free things, because, frankly, New York City is too expensive to keep paying for stuff I actually hate. But more broadly, I want to normalize not spending money when hanging out because it can create a socioeconomic dynamic that, at times, can prevent an otherwise lovely relationship from blossoming (see the data above). It can’t be an all-or-nothing situation where not being able to meet for weekly drinks (an easy $100 tab in NYC) casts someone out of a friendship.

If you, too, want to have fun with your friends without feeling like you’re blowing a hole in your bank account, here are some tips. Remember that free doesn’t mean less fun. It just means more creativity.

1. Suggest a Free Activity

Right now, terms like “life admin date,” “emotional support shopping,” “errand date” and “parallel play” have been going viral. The concept involves inviting friends to accompany you as you execute daily life tasks. Maybe you both need to sit down and pay your taxes. Ask them to go grocery shopping with you. (Chances are, they’re out of eggs, too.) I really like the concept of “parallel play,” where you invite a friend over and do your hobbies together. For example, my friend invited me to their place so they could embroider while I scrapbooked, and we both could talk.

2. It’s OK to say “I’m Busy”

In a previous article I reported, Credit Karma’s consumer financial advocate Courtney Alev stressed the importance of being able to say no.

“It’s easier said than done but try not to feel pressured to participate in expensive outings just because your friends want you to,” she told me. “At the end of the day, it’s more important to do what’s best for you and your finances.”

However, as she stated, it’s easier said than done. Sometimes the friend in question isn’t close enough for me to feel comfortable declining while citing financial reasons. And that’s where I’ve told myself it’s OK to just keep it at an “I’m sorry, I’m busy.” No one’s entitled to know what you’re busy doing. A simple “Can’t make it!” excuses yourself without having to dig into the details.

3. Be Frank!

There are times when I feel more comfortable laying out the fact that I don’t want to spend an unholy amount of money. For example, a group of close friends and I wanted to see a play, and we put one person in charge of finding tickets. She kept coming back with seats that were more than I was willing to spend, so finally, I wrote into the group explaining what my budget was and that I was OK if they wanted more expensive seats, but ultimately, I didn’t want to go badly enough to pay the premium price. That gave someone else in our group the freedom (I presume) to chime in, saying that her cap was similar to mine. And according to Alev, this was the right way to handle things.

“Other friends might even be feeling the same way you are and appreciate the opportunity to set expectations as a friend group,” she told me. “It’s better to have these conversations before you RSVP for that group dinner or that bachelorette trip so you don’t overspend or feel pressured to pay an amount you’re not comfortable with.”

4. Create a “Free” Third Space

And finally, sometimes you must take matters into your own hands, which is what I did soon after moving to New York. In a city that basically hazes you with mandatory spending every time you walk out the door, I decided to start a free book club that meets in a hotel lobby once a month. Everyone, old-time regulars and prospective new readers alike, know that it’s a no-spend third space where all are welcome. In the warmer seasons we picnic in parks (BYOFood), in the cold months, we’re back in the hotel lobby (free and open to the public) or in someone’s apartment.

Slack, email, text messages, DMs—it doesn’t matter the medium, my millennial self never shies away from the addition of a casual “lol.” No, I’m not laughing out loud, but rather inserting it as more of a personality check. It’s a way to soften the delivery of any given statement, whether I’m messaging my best friend…or my boss.
 
A quick search of my text messages confirmed: I’d used lol a whopping 19 times in the past couple of weeks alone. For example, to joke with my sister about the length of a recent trip (“long drive lol”). Also, in discussion with a friend about an irritating exchange (“not that I’m disgruntled about that lol”). Heck, I’d even employed it to talk about the state of a recent work assignment (“I’d welcome your edits lol!”).
 
For the record, Gen Z is over our use of it. “Millennials use ‘lol’ like STOP at the end of a telegram lol,” one X user wrote. It’s true: When I searched my texts, I noticed I wasn’t the only millennial typing lol on repeat. A teacher friend (also a millennial) texted about my 8-year-old: “He’s not supposed to grow up this fast, lol”. I also got this from a pregnant millennial mom friend sharing her current state of being in her first trimester: “extreme fatigue and nausea lol”.

But as TikToker Anna Gaddis recently stressed: Our “lol” isn’t a boisterous, exuberant laugh. Dr. Albert Bonfil, who is the director of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Los Angeles, likened the use of lol to a nervous tic. In a recent interview with The Guardian, he said it can serve as a “digital form of body language,” both softening a statement and conveying friendliness. That tracks.

I’ll admit that after being assigned this story, I was even more conscious of my reliance on “lol.” But as I looked at my use cases, I felt a bit of forgiveness toward myself—and millennials everywhere—for our frequency in typing it.

After all, and FWIW, millennials didn’t always have virtual communication methods at their fingertips. That transition to texting and email happened in real time (I was in college when I opened my first email account). The process of adapting how I expressed myself for digital formats included a ton of education about tone. (Ask me about my first Boston-based internship and the rule book we had about reading—and re-reading—every single piece of digital correspondence.) No wonder millennials go to great lengths to account for the subtext of our text messages, specifically how they land.

As one user said in reply to Gen Z and in the comments section of Gaddis’s TikTok—which has since racked up 6 million views: “These youths better stop telling the generation that shaped internet and texting culture how to be on the internet & text.” (Here, here.)

Still, why do I lean on it so heavily? Is it the conversational equivalent of saying “like” too much or—worse—undermining my own credibility, assertiveness and feelings rather than owning them outright?

I’m going to definitively answer my own question and say…no. For millennials, lol is an effort to keep things lighthearted; to not be a downer; to infuse digital interactions with levity and nuance, the same way we’d do in real life. (The trade-off is that you want to stay cautious about how you employ it in more serious digital communications—i.e. it’s probably best not to use it all that often at work unless you truly mean you’re laughing out loud.)

Will I adjust my frequency of use? Perhaps. But while Gen Z can come after our side parts and skinny jeans, when it comes to lol, I stand affirmed in my use.

When it comes to Kate Middleton, it seems there's literally nothing she can't do. In her capacity as the Princess of Wales, she is the patron of dozens of charities and organizations. She launched her own initiative, The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood. Not to mention, she's also an involved mom of three, style icon and future Queen Consort. And in the latest video shared by Kensington Palace, Princess Catherine, alongside Prince William, marked another major milestone: speaking Welsh for the first time in public.

The video shows the royal couple sporting matching daffodils—the national flower of Wales—on their lapels. They even color-coordinated their outfits, Prince William with a red and navy tie and Princess Catherine in a red tartan dress (similar here, $252).

This is the first time either royal has delivered an address in Welsh. As for how they're learning the language? While there's been no hint of royal tutors, Prince William has gone on record saying Duolingo has been his teacher. Evidently, the work has paid off, as fans were enthusiastic in the comments.

"Happy St David's Day to everyone!! Lovely message in Welsh YRH," one wrote.

The couple was recently in Wales visiting Hafan Yr Afon in Powys, the county with the highest proportion of volunteers in the United Kingdom. How Do I Know If I’m a Good Candidate for Invisalign?

Both dentists agree that Invisalign is a good option for pretty much anyone who wants their teeth straightened. “It works for many different types of individuals, including those who have overcrowding, an overbite, underbite, crossbite, gaps, crooked teeth or anyone who has had teeth shift after braces,” says Dr. Lee.

“During the initial consultation, your doctor can show you a detailed 3D scan mapping out the treatment process. This will give you an idea of what your smile will look like after completing treatment. Your doctor will also be able to go over more specific details about what can be achieved—from individual tooth movement to how your overall smile will appear—using specific in-face visualization tools,” he adds.

What Results Can I Realistically Expect from Getting Invisalign? 

It’s a common myth that Invisalign only treats simple cases, rather than anything complex. While Dr. Fraundorf does concede that there are some “complex cases that have limitations and may require various alternatives like undergoing a hybrid treatment (i.e., utilizing additional buttons or brackets in addition to your clear aligners or surgical interventions, etc.), this is determined on a case-by-case basis.” In fact, since 2011* over 1,900,000 patients with complex malocclusions, including Class II, open bite, bicuspid extraction and deep bite have been treated with Invisalign clear aligners.

In terms of maintaining the results, no surprises here: Patient compliance plays a big part of your treatment. “If you wear your clear aligners as instructed and are in the hands of a knowledgeable, detail-oriented orthodontist, you can expect excellent results,” assures Dr. Fraundorf.

How Long Does Invisalign Take?

The length of your Invisalign treatment can vary widely, as it’s dependent on several criteria, including:

• The severity of your teeth (aka case complexity) at baseline. Some questions Dr. Fraundorf considers include how much tooth movement is required? Is it minimal alignment or is it a more complex case that may require significant coordination of the arches and bite correction?
  
• Patient compliance. While every doctor’s prescription varies, a good rule of thumb is to expect to wear your aligners full time (meaning 20-22 hours/day) for efficient tooth movement. The less you wear your aligners, the longer you have to stay in each tray, which means it will take longer to reach your goals.
  
• Your dentist or orthodontist’s level of expertise. “Your doctor is the designer and the captain of your smile transformation journey. They are responsible for utilizing the tools to steer the ship and get you to the finish line,” says Dr. Fraundorf. “Some doctors are more skilled and detail-oriented, and some are more specialized (i.e., a general dentist vs an orthodontic specialist). All of these factors will all affect how long your treatment will take and the end results.”

How Much Does Invisalign Cost?

This will also depend on several factors that vary from patient to patient. “Your doctor will determine the cost of your treatment based on how complex your case is and how many aligners you need, but in most cases, the cost of Invisalign treatment is comparable to the cost of traditional braces,” says Dr. Lee. Other things that will affect the cost of your treatment include the expertise of your doctor (are they a board-certified orthodontist vs. a general dentist) and the geographic region of where you’re getting your treatment done.

What Are Some Common Misconceptions People Have About Invisalign?

One of the biggest misconceptions about Invisalign is that people think it’s only meant for adults. “Invisalign works for kids and teens as well. In fact, they’re often preferred because they’re less painful than traditional braces and can fix both simple cases and more complex smile issues,” says Dr. Lee.

Another common misconception Dr. Fraundorf hears from patients is that they expect Invisalign to be completely invisible. “There are various components to Invisalign—namely, these little ‘attachments’ that are tooth-colored and adhered onto your teeth in various configurations to assist in specific types of tooth movement,” she explains. “Many of my patients are surprised to see that they have all of these attachments on their teeth during the treatment, so it’s important to openly discuss these things with your provider before you begin.”

What Are the Best Ways to Ensure Your Teeth Stay Straight After Completing Invisalign?

Follow your doctor’s prescribed protocol. “Like all teeth straightening treatments, including traditional braces, once you’re done with your Invisalign treatment, you’ll need to wear a retainer to keep your teeth straight longterm. Depending on your doctor, you’ll be offered custom-made Vivera™ retainers that are crafted using the same technology as your Invisalign aligners or another retainer brand,” says Dr. Lee.

Dr. Fraundorf adds that you should expect to wear these removable retainers at night for the rest of your life because your teeth continue to move. “For some patients, I prescribe a fixed or bonded retainer (more commonly referred to as a ‘permanent’ retainer), but that’s usually reserved for people who began with excessive lower anterior crowding or a gap between the upper front teeth,” she adds.

Wait, What? Our Teeth Continue to Move?

“It’s true our teeth will continue to shift throughout lifetime,” says Dr. Lee. “Our bodies are constantly changing—whether it’s our hair, our skin or our teeth. They’re constantly exposed to wear and contact to help us function in our daily lives, and when that’s not balanced, our teeth can slowly move and often, they move unevenly. This is why even after orthodontic treatment is complete, you will need a retainer to ‘retain’ the teeth in their newly fixed position as best as possible. It’s no different than going to a gym and working out your body to a physical goal, and then doing the necessary things afterwards to maintain your body in that shape for as long as possible,” he explains.

While no immediate family members have passed, the day that the Queen and Wintour met also happened to be the day of the private funeral service of Princess Désirée of Sweden. The British and Swedish royal families are connected through Queen Victoria; King Carl XVI Gustaf and King Charles are third cousins.

A red flag can mean many things, starting with an ick and in the extremes being dangerous or toxic. Some are recounted to friends with humor. Orthopedic shoes and a wrinkled button-up on a first date. Saying that stay-at-home-moms don’t perform unpaid labor. Recounting in a self-satisfied tone about how they retaliated against someone who did something that bothered them. (All actual experiences I’ve had.) Others are…grave. Like giving their partner an STI. Taking zero initiative when the couple is lost on a road trip and lying down on the sidewalk while the girl figures it out. Defacing private property. (All things I’ve heard down the grapevine.)

Now here’s the thing: Red flags are important. They can clue you into a person’s character. But sometimes we’re a little bit too hung up on them, writing people off before we’ve actually given them a chance. In fact, professor of relational communication at CSU Fullerton, TV host and author Dr. Tara agrees, saying that oftentimes what we perceive to be red flags aren’t really flags at all.

“Our reactions and feelings are not always reliable or reasonable,” she says. “We often bring our own baggage and sociocultural expectations or pressures, which inform how we show up as daters. You should investigate your beliefs further and not always trust your first reaction when dating.” This applies, in particular, to red flags being raised on the basis of physical appearance. (I am definitely a guilty party here.) Dr. Tara says that because this is subjective, it’s “limiting at best and reinforces harmful stereotypes at worst.”

Of course, I’m not writing off very real red flags, including some of my above examples. Per Dr. Tara, other serious things to consider include “controlling or manipulative behavior, poor listening skills, disregard for your or others' boundaries, lack of empathy, inability or difficulty communicating, aggression, addiction and other self-sabotaging behaviors. Past relationship history, or even how someone talks about their previous relationships, can sometimes be a red flag.”

But as for everything else? Perhaps Gen Z needs to think twice before calling it and ending the relationship—especially if it’s a first-time “offense” or human error. If the other person is making attempts to repair damage, be accountable and make amends, it’s probably not going to manifest into something ugly.

“Red flags are usually patterns of behavior, so it's important to look at whether this experience was more of a one-off or a true reflection of this [person’s] personality,” Dr. Tara explains. “There's also a difference between people who are aware of their red flag behaviors and want to change, and those who don't.”

At the end of the day, if we go by the typical “red flag” definition (i.e. anything that we disagree with or gives us the “ick”), we’ve all got them because we’re all human. Treating everything like a dealbreaker and the idea that a person has to be perfect out of the box, like a Barbie doll, is frankly unrealistic. One of my friends put it best: “It’s so nice to be with someone who loves you even though you’re the one that made them mad.”

Going back to Dr. Tara’s anecdote, if someone’s aware of their red flag, is it really a red flag? If they’re trying to work on this aspect of themselves, is it really toxic? Personally, I was raised with the mindset that you're taking someone for who they are right now, but also who they might become later. And the best way to help manage expectations, Dr. Tara says, is to check in every once in a while and make sure you and your partner are aligned.

I’ve caught myself and observed my friends tripping over “red flags” that, in the grand scheme of things, are really just what make people human. So maybe at the end of the day what we all need is some grace—for others and ourselves.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s a part of me that didn’t want to let it go. It’s rare for a show to truly pull me in the way this one did. When creator and executive producer Meaghan Oppenheimer confirmed ahead of the finale that this would be the third and final season, I wasn’t exactly thrilled. In my head, this show easily had five seasons in it. Season one closely followed Carola Lovering’s 2018 novel, but seasons two and three expanded far beyond the source material. Surely there was room for more drama at Baird College?

But the more I thought about it, the more I realized something: I’m glad it ended on a high note. We’ve all seen shows we love stretch themselves too thin, delivering extra seasons that just don’t hit the same. As Oppenheimer shared when announcing the end, Tell Me Lies “had reached its natural conclusion.” And honestly? I respect that.

We got answers. We got closure. We got to see how things ultimately shook out for our favorite (and least favorite) characters at fictional Baird College. And maybe most importantly, I’m finally free from the weekly emotional chokehold. I'm feeling like Lucy in that final scene.

So while no new episodes are coming, a rewatch is absolutely on the agenda.

And with reviews like this, I have a feeling it’s going to book up fast: “Arthur’s place was spectacular! It’s nestled in the middle of [the] Dolomites with amazing views and surroundings. The apartment is spotless and very clean. Furnishings were very new and cozy too.”

One reviewer called this, “legitimately the best stay anywhere I have ever had,” so of course it caught my attention. They went on to share, “Words cannot describe. The greatest view from a stay that I’ve ever seen, and the most hospitable hosts EVER. Rita, Karl and [their] children supplied some of the best meals I’ve seriously ever had straight to our table.” Considering that, I’d say it’s definitely worth adding on a few meals to your stay—that is when you’re not busy heading out for a walk along the mountain streams or visiting the Hochgruberhof farm, which makes its own Alpine cheese.

The 20-year-old dominated in women’s singles figure skating and the mixed team event, instantly cementing herself as one of the Games’ biggest names. And just as fans cheered her on at the rink, they showed up with the same energy when she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

And for good reason. Just last week, Liu delivered a dazzling free skate to “MacArthur Park Suite” by Donna Summer that earned her the Olympic gold medal in the ladies' singles event. With that win, she became the first female American Olympic champion since Sarah Hughes in 2002 and the first American woman to medal since Sasha Cohen in 2006.

Her victory marks a full-circle comeback. After competing in Beijing at just 16, Liu stunned the skating world by announcing her retirement. Over the next two years, she enrolled at UCLA, explored photography and even trekked to Mount Everest base camp.

I Won’t Miss the Olympic Competition—I’ll Miss the Olympic-Size Tears

The crime drama, currently airing season two, with season one now streaming on Netflix, follows an elite task force charged with recapturing the country’s most dangerous serial killers after an explosion at a top-secret underground prison known as “the Pit” sets them free.

The series stars Melissa Roxburgh (who starred in another major Netflix hit), alongside Nick Wechsler in season one. Wechsler plays Oliver Odell, a complex, charming, yet often reckless, former FBI profiler and prison warden of "The Pit" in Cheyenne, Wyoming. As you can imagine, he becomes a crucial part of the team working to track down the escaped killers.

But the second he appeared on my screen, I paused. Not because of the plot, because of him. I immediately thought, “Where have I seen him before?” And then it clicked.

Revenge.

Nick played Jack Porter in the ABC drama series Revenge (2011–2015), appearing in all four seasons. Jack was the loyal, earnest bartender at the Stowaway Tavern who eventually becomes a police officer. It was one of my favorite dramas (and, let’s be honest, still a top-tier comfort rewatch), so of course the recognition hit fast.

And Revenge isn’t his only résumé highlight. He’s popped up in Hulu’s High Potential, Prime Video’s The Boys, NBC favorite This Is Us and FX's It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, plus the Dynasty reboot.

This Action Drama Just Hit #1 on Netflix & It's Hands-Down the Best Film of the Year so Far

If you’re a fan of stores like Eileen Fisher, Massimo Dutti or Zara that combine a certain elevated elegance, edge and modernity, then you’re going to love British fashion retailer COS. (I, for one, haven’t been able to stop shopping at the super chic store since living in London.) In fact, it’s practically an English uniform among It girls. I’ve been familiar with the brand for many years now, but it wasn’t until I saw almost every stylish editor at the SheerLuxe offices wearing COS that I knew I had to take the plunge and finally check out their new line IRL.

After trying on just about everything, I curated my ultimate spring shopping list, which includes some trendy funnel-neck pieces as well as staple items like a little black dress and comfy jeans. (Given how chilly the season has been, I leaned toward more transitional pieces that’d help you stay cozy as the temperatures eventually shift upward.)

Without further ado, here are 8 spring pieces from COS worth buying this season, with photos of me trying on each item to assess fit, feel and quality.

1. COS Nylon Mock-Neck Jacket

This cool stunner caught my eye immediately, stopping me in my tracks and sending me back into the dressing room for a second round to try it on. It’s 100 percent nylon, making it the perfect piece to wear on a stroll, while running errands or over your trusty jeans as I did, pictured above. It has such a cool, sporty vibe that effortlessly elevates any look, and I especially liked that it was quite thick and warm without being stuffy.

Plus, it has buttoned pockets and a drawstring hem that can be cinched tighter for a bubble effect or loosened up for a more flowy structure. I grabbed a size medium for a more oversized look, but I actually wish I had gone with a small instead, as the relaxed fit is extra roomy.

2. COS Reprise Straight-Leg Jeans

As much as I love a trendy silhouette like the barrel-leg jean, I much prefer a classic, straight-leg option like this one from COS. Last year, I found a similar pair that I ended up walking away from, and I’ve never thought about jeans more in my life since, so these came home with me. They’re made from a blend of organic and recycled cotton, giving them a stiff, rigid quality that holds its shape without making me feel like I can’t move at all. Whenever I find a pair of jeans with a loose-but-tailored design around the thighs, I know I’ve hit the jackpot. I tried it on in my usual size, 27, and can attest that it runs true to size. Best of all, they make my bum look nice and perky.

3. COS Tailored Mini Dress

If you want to round out your closet, make sure you own a ‘90s-approved little black dress like this darling piece from COS. It's classy, timeless and forgiving, with a sophisticated boatneck and boxy shape that gently skims your frame without actually clinging to it. Despite the forgiving silhouette, it doesn’t look frumpy in the slightest, thanks to darts at the waist that create a nice, sculpted shape. That being said, I wish I'd sized down to a 4 for a more bespoke fit. I know it might seem unsuitable for early spring at first glance, but don’t be fooled by the mini length—it's actually made from a merino wool blend that will keep you warm underneath.

My closet is overflowing with mostly black-and-white neutral garments, so I’ve made it my mission to add more color when I can. Enter: this bright blue beauty. It's comfortable, cozy and incredibly soft—everything that makes a great sweater. I’ve been really into layering my knits over white tees (this one I’m wearing is also from COS and among the best white T-shirts on the market), and the V-neck works perfectly for this. I also thought it would be great to drape it over my shoulders and tie it around my neck as a cute accessory, an extra layer of warmth (just in case it gets cold) and a splash of color.

Speaking of color, I couldn’t help but gravitate towards this blood orange stunner as I headed to the dressing room. Unlike the aforementioned piece, this 100 percent cashmere knit has a classic crew neckline that still looks great layered over a T-shirt (which I opted for), but will also look super chic on its own. The feel is incredibly soft and buttery, and if it weren’t labeled dry-clean-only, I would probably sleep in it whenever I could. Regarding the fit, it’s typically true to size, but if you want a relaxed, slouchy look like I did, definitely size up one or two; the large on me provided plenty of room to tuck and roll without overwhelming my figure.

6. COS Mini Cavatelli Leather Clutch Bag

As an avid Bottega Veneta fan, the second I laid eyes on this COS cutie, I thought of The Pouch—with a better price tag, might I add. The bag is crafted from premium leather and has a dumpling-like shape, with fluffy folds that give it a nice texture and knotted drawstrings at the sides to emphasize the gathered material tenfold. The deep wine-stained hue will complement browns and navys but will also look fabulous when paired within the same color family, such as with bright reds or soft pinks. The main reason I took this accessory home was because of its versatile use. It can function as a crossbody, shoulder bag or clutch when needed (I know, I’m freaking out, too).

7. COS Shrunken Polo Shirt

If I could live in T-shirts, I would, but there’s something nice about switching it up every now and then. Options like this polo shirt are great to have because they’re just as versatile and comfortable as plain tees, but they add a little more oomph to your look—especially when they feature color-blocking like this gem, pairing a moody chocolate with the trim’s vibrant blue (the same blue I fell in love with on the sweater above). It also makes a great piece to pack for trips because it's lightweight despite its warm wool blend. One thing to note: as the name suggests, it has a shrunken fit, so if you prefer the ribbed hem to sit loose along your hips, I’d recommend sizing up.

8. COS Checked Shirt

This muted neon green-and-black checked piece was the most out of my comfort zone of the bunch, but I had to remind myself that sometimes the best outfits often come from being a little adventurous—i.e., giving those black and grey knits a much-needed break. When I tried this on, I felt like a different person in the best way. From the bold print to the tonal green colorway, everything about this button-up was fun, daring and completely polished. It genuinely boosted my confidence, making me stand a little taller and push my shoulders back. The jacquard-knitted fabric is crafted from a soft cotton blend that, while not as soft as a sweater, remains stretchy and form-fitting due to its slim design. (And don’t worry, it’s not itchy, either.) Unlike the matching skirt, it didn’t cling to my body but rather skimmed my silhouette, and it had a gathered effect along the seams that was flattering, especially considering how noisy the fabric can be.

Calling all CBK stans! This wide headband has Carolyn Bessette Kennedy-core written all over it. Unfortunately, I didn't see this beauty when I was shopping in the store, but if I had, I would’ve chucked the Amazon one off my head and into the bin. I’ve seen my fair share of accessories, including headbands of all colors and widths, but I have never seen one with a thoughtful topstitching detail like this. That, coupled with the COS’s signature luxe leather, makes it look like it could be well over $100—but thankfully, it’s not.

The Olympics are familiar turf for Simone Biles—she has 11 Olympic medals, after all. But when the decorated gymnast showed up in Milan, it marked a special occasion. For the first time, Biles wasn't there to dominate the podium. She was there as a spectator. Following the whirlwind event, the Olympian took to Instagram to share photos—and my eyes immediately lingered on her fashionable burgundy fur coat.

Biles' carousel of pictures showed her and her husband, Jonathan Owens, gallivanting around Milan while proudly sporting Team USA gear. It was all run-of-the-mill Olympics content...until I swiped to the sixth photo.

In it, Biles and Owens are smiling in front of a restaurant, dressed in monochromatic outfits. Owens kept it simple in a gray ensemble, while Biles unsurprisingly opted for a floor-length, burgundy fur coat (similar here, $66) over a coordinating sweater. To caption her post, Biles left a heartfelt message: "First Olympics as a spectator! I’ve lived it as a competitor—this time I got to witness it," she wrote. "Huge congrats to every athlete who showed up & gave their all! And to those who walked away feeling like it wasn’t your best — you are still elite, still worthy, and your story isn’t finished."

One of the references she made was to "Quad God" Ilia Malinin's disappointing men's freeskate, where she was in the audience. The Olympic favorite shockingly failed to claim the gold.

“I was really worried about how his mental health was going to be,” Biles told Olympics.com. “When you’re expected to skate a performance of your lifetime and you don’t deliver, I worry how that affects his mental and how the world is going to view that."

In an interview following his performance, Malinin was joined by Biles where she offered the young star words of encouragement. It meant all the more because the gymnast herself had suffered a similar situation at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics when a case of the "twisties" led her to withdraw from competition.

This was part of the couple's joint visit to Oriel Davies Gallery, a contemporary art gallery in Wales. They came to see the gallery's Hand in Hand initiative, which uses art to support children and families.

"An inspiring example of how communities in Powys are coming together to foster confidence and connection through creative workshops," the caption read.

The Prince and Princess also visited The Hanging Gardens community center to meet with volunteers and learn about the organization's sustainability and creativity initiatives.

Aly Owens, our senior director of social strategy and mom to a nearly 7-month-old, tried it out ahead of the SlumberGo’s launch. Here’s her honest review and photos, so you can decide for yourself whether it’s worth ordering before your next trip.

What Is the SlumberGo?

Simply put, the SlumberGo is a playard that folds up to a TSA-compliant 23-inch by 9-inch rectangle and comes with a travel case, so you can tote it like a backpack. It’s designed to be used on its own, but it also fits under the SlumberPod, so you can create a fully portable sleep nook to help your baby wind down, no matter where you are.

It Takes the Stress Out of Traveling

Owens was immediately impressed with how easy setup and teardown was. “It was the easiest process I think I’ve had with any baby item, to be honest,” she shares. It took her one minute and 48 seconds to set it up out of the box—including the time it took to read the instructions—and every time after that, 45 seconds or less.

“I feel like packing up is always the most daunting part, because things never seem to go back to being as compact as they were upon initially opening them, but the process was super straightforward and simple,” she says. Owens timed that too, and the first time, it took two minutes—and actually went back to its original folded size, without issue, and after that, it took just one minute and 30 seconds. “As a new mom, any task that takes less than two minutes is great in my book.”

The Mattress Is Breathable *And* Comfy

But what about comfort? Of course, ease of setup means nothing if your kid can’t stand actually being in the playard. SlumberGo exceeded expectations on that front too.

“It feels very sturdy, and I particularly like the mattress,” she says. “I feel like the mattresses in most pack-and-plays I’ve used are so flimsy—and seem so uncomfortable. This mattress feels thicker but is still firm and safe for sleep.”

On that note, the SlumberGo features a Bedgear-designed Air-X mattress, which is engineered to maximize airflow and breathability, preventing overheating. It also features mesh on all sides, with a zippered door at the front to make it easier to pick up your baby without having to lean over the side of the playard.

One Thing Worth Noting

Price-wise, the SlumberGo is comparable to other travel cribs on the market. However, while it is compact, it’s not the lightest out there. At 17.2 pounds, it’s a bit heavier than the Guava Family Lotus ($300) and BabyBjörn Travel Crib ($230), which clock in at 15 pounds and 13 pounds, respectively. It’s something to consider as you weigh your options, though in our book, its overall portability, sturdiness and quality of the mattress more than make up for the extra weight.

The Bottom Line: SlumberGo All Out

On its own, the SlumberGo makes for a great travel crib and playard. On Tuesday, February 24, the Game of Thrones alum took to Instagram to share a carousel of photos from her celebration and yes, the dress deserved its own moment. The images, captured by English photographer John Taylor, show Turner fully embracing the night. It's the most wonderful time of the year—and no, I'm not talking about Christmas. For all the pop culture fanatics out there, January through March means one thing, and one thing only: awards season.
